The perfect day

Both myself and Asif were off today so we had friends over last night for dinner it was so lovely catching up with friends and eating good food.

This morning we both slept late and enjoyed a lazy Sunday morning. We got up around 12, I pottered around the house washing clothes and tidying up.

At 1 we went for a walk in the park it was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and it wasn’t cold. We strolled through the park hand in hand. Then we went for lunch we had a Chinese it was simply delicious and just lovely to eat out and chat. Over lunch we talked about our future and a the plans we have.

After lunch we went for a stroll around the city centre, Asif treated me to a new pair of jeans in the Diesel store and he bought himself a new hoody in JD sports

We then bought candles to leave at the vigil of Ashling Murphy the girl who was recently murdered in Ireland whilst out for a run.

We lit the candles and said a prayer at the vigil

As we were leaving we met a friend so we all sat in the park and I got us take away teas and we chatted for a couple of hours.

When we parted ways Asif and myself walked home by the river and fed the swans some bread the views by the river are breathtaking

Today I am so grateful that we got to spend the perfect day together and just enjoy being together when we got home I made us tea, then cleaned the fish bowl out so cheddar (our fish) is now in clean water and fed.

We are now chilling watching Netflix and chilling for the rest of the evening. It’s days like this that make me so happy. I love spending quality time with Asif and making plans for our future.
